From November 1, the government is going to make some changes in the system of food items available through ration cards. Till now, grains were not mixed in equal quantity at the ration shop but were mixed in different quantities. But now the government is going to bring a new system from November 1, due to which instead of earlier three kilos of rice and two kilos of wheat, now two and a half kilos of wheat and two and a half kilos of rice will be available. Due to this big change, the government is also going to make changes in the 35 kg food grains available on Antyodaya card.

Decreased the quantity of rice by increasing the quantity of wheat.

Earlier, 14 kg wheat and 21 kg rice were included in the Antyodaya card. But now the government is going to give 18 kg rice and 17 kg wheat instead. It is clear that the government has increased the quantity of wheat by reducing the quantity of rice. In both the ration schemes, the government has reduced the quantity of rice and increased the quantity of wheat. According to ration shop owners, the government has issued orders regarding the new system which is to be implemented from November 1, 2024.

Whenever ration will be distributed in the month of November, it will be distributed under the new system, so that ration card holders will get relief. At the same time, the government distributes free ration at all the cheap grocery shops.
